Join Wendy for meditations, yoga practices, and conversations on how the practice of yoga creates resiliency, compassion, and an ability to create justice within the communities in our world. She will provide short meditations and 30-45 minute yoga classes intended for the beginner and experienced yoga student. Special guests will join Wendy on a regular basis to share how they use mindfulness, yoga, and their favorite passions to increase their wellbeing and connection to their local community.Why yoga and cheese dip? Yoga and Cheese Dip just happen to be two of Wendy's personal favorite ways to connect to self and her community! Wendy has found that these connections are often what is most needed to increase diversity and equity within historically underserved populations.Wendy Cook is an advocate for justice and well-being through the practices of yoga. She has 20+ years as an international yoga teacher and humanitarian. She currently is a candidate for a Masters in Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service, where she is learning to create mindfulness-centered public programs through scientific-based evidence. She has a passion for all things that bring connection to the individual soul and human relationships. Her experience over the last 20+ years expands through yoga studios, corporate consulting, anxiety management, behavioral heath out-patient and residential facilities, adolescent sex trafficking, D-1 basketball, yoga teacher trainer, and a professional's professional mentor all through the physical, mental, and spiritual practice of yoga. -
