Welcome, to our second podcast! One of the goals of this podcast series is providing a platform for folks who look like me, who come from marginalized communities to honestly talk, support and validate each other. I feel honored to have one of my oldest friends, Maurice Edgerton, a African American retired Human Resource Executive, talk about incest, childhood sexual violence, and loving and raising a son born of incest. Maurice and I've known each other for 45 years. Over the years I depended on his guidance and support, felt safe to cry and be vulnerable in his company, and I never doubted his friendship.
