I started TheeClutterQueen in the fall of 2022 simply because I wanted to spread awareness. For my whole life I always knew I talked differently than my peers and it never really bothered me until recently. Why now? I thought to myself. Overtime, I began to suppress and hide my true authentic self because I was afraid. Now, I realize that it isn't that I should hide this part of myself, but I should embrace it and spread awareness about it. Most people do not understand speech disfluencies to be disabilities because they are not visible. However, they should be taken just as seriously as any other visible disability simple because they are. Verbal diversity and disabilities should be faced with patience, kindness and inclusivity. -
