Welcome to The Volk Furs Podcast! Host Garrett Volk is a trapper, hunter and owns a small fur buying and furrier business. Topics to be discussed will include, how to start trapping, processing fur, making fur items from fur, fur market and industry news. The podcast will also include interviews with trappers, houndsmen, and predator hunters to talk about various forms of taking predators and their viewpoints on the fur industry. Garrett will interview people from a non trapping background to discuss various issues and viewpoints regarding the use of fur. Garrett is also an avid Minnesota Vikings football fan, so expect to hear some sports talk every now and then.
