The Tayseer Podcast is the official podcast of Tayseer Seminary located in Knoxville, Tennessee. The full-time Islamic seminary provides an in-depth introduction to the foundational Islamic sciences, enabling students to become knowledgeable servants of God in the modern world. Tayseer’s aim is to foster an environment in which students can deepen their spiritual experience through devotional exercises such as Qiyam al-Layl, dhikr, regular fasting, and spiritual retreats. Tayseer also facilitates opportunities for students to develop relationships with the various Islamic institutions and activists in the Knoxville area. Students have graduated to fulfill numerous community leadership roles as well as continue further education in Islamic Studies. Tayseer Seminary was established in 2014 and is led by Dr. Hassan Lachheb who is joined by Ustadha Zaynab Ansari as the first female resident scholar at an Islamic theological seminary. The faculty also includes Dr. Michael Dann, who joined in 2020. -
