We proudly present a newly podcast channel to tell stories and experiences of physical, psychological, and sexual abuse, violence, and harassment/bullying based on gender, age, race and ethnicity, and sexuality. Many victims/survivors are silenced or demonized for speaking up for many reasons. They are still grappling with the trigger and trauma of abuse which can be a barrier to speaking out and sharing their stories. Some are scared of victim blaming, further violence, or not enough or losing support systems. For the first time, our campaign starts with "My Words, Our Stories" expressing the stories of journalists and media staff from Myanmar. Current conditions in Myanmar are now unsafe for them to work for their respective media groups. Due to the lack of security in Myanmar, many of them move to other countries to pursue their livelihood. It is such a big human resource loss for Myanma media world. Apparently, The journalists and media staff themselves are suffering a big loss financially and emotionally. Speaking of mental health, they are experiencing depression, anxiety, post-traumatic symptoms, survivor’s guilt, and so on. “My Words, Our Stories” podcast is now bringing their authentic stories to our audience. Each podcast has two parts: a survivor/victim’s story about what happened to them and the healing ways to find with us together. -
