When I was a kid, I grew up in the metro Detroit area where my parents were lower middle class but behind closed curtains were struggling alcoholics It was rough growing up in a toxic home not knowing what to expect the next day. Not knowing when mom or dad end up in the back of a cop car again. Not knowing when the next day I'd piss my dad off so much from just being a kid that he'd lay his hands on me. The school of hard knocks was something he'd described like it was normal until it became abusive at times. I was the rebel trouble maker kid who sucked in school, angry all the time, scared, anxiety ridden, huge lack of self confidence and always looking for the next biggest turn life would throw my way. Fast forward to 2019 where i'm standing on a stage in a full banquet hall in a 5 star hotel resort up in the mountains of Park city, Utah and have my now wife with me by my side as one of the top 50 producers out of a fortune 500 company paid in full and got paid while I was there. Fast forward to 2020 where the coin flipped completely and I went from about to be promoted to Sales Manager of the East Detroit Market to me having to pivot jobs after a pandemic just to keep hustling to provide and invest along the way. Once my industry took a dip it had left my life in shambles as more deeper challenges mentally in life came along the way. Through my hustle I had to dig deep and figure out who I was internally and realize where I came from all along to get back to my family and realize what was truly important to me. The pain i've endured through my childhood has gotten me now to 2021 where I now have my full time career as a Sales Manager in my old same fortune 500 company that I never burned a bridge with that has taught me how to run a business of my own. I have a daughter and a now son on the way and I just moved my wife and I into a beautiful townhome. This company has certified me in professional sales, marketing, B2B growth, Salesforce certification, licensed in life insurance and limited life insurance, recruiting and now i've leveled up to management after the pandemic. My path so far has been a long one and there have been numerous obstacles, failures and true life struggles in the way but I wanted to create a full scale business podcast for anyone in the entrepreneurial world or in professional sales just out there getting it at a young age who may have faced similar life struggles or hurdles. Who's learning day in and day out about perfecting their 9-5, 8-7, night jobs etc. to take with them when they start focusing more on themselves when nobody is watching and creating their side hustles and investing at such a young age to become financially free from the rat race. A podcast where people come to share their story and learn off self made millionaires and billionaires' who do it every day. A place about the struggles, the laughs, the dig deep moments, the moments where we test our abilities to see how far we can go. This is a podcast about the fire in ones chest that should never stop burning that keeps you going in a targeted audience of the damaged and hungry. The world needs to see more young Millenials and Gen-Z'ers who are hungry out there willing to start from nothing with no experience but knowing that they're the sponges of our future and need to realize they have greatness within them as well. Levels is a place where they can come and learn, discuss, comment, share their stories and hone in on the deeply critical self taught knowledge that gets our minds through unexpected hurdles life throws at you from deepest and sometimes darkest of spots and that is... level number 0.
