Dream to work in the Fashion and Luxury industry ? Welcome to FASHION CAREER STORIES My name is Lucas SILVA EDWARDS, I am a Career strategist and Executive coach. My role is to help you design a successful life and career, in one of the most glamorous industry on the planet, but also one of the most competitive ones. Each week, I interview fashion professionals at different stages of their career, in order to decode their best practices, tactics and strategies. My hope for you is that you will find in these conversations, some inspiration and insights that will help you built your professional journey in the world of fashion and luxury. WHO AM I ? I am a french born from colombian descent, fashion professional with more than 10 years of experience in the fashion and luxury industry here in Paris, France I am an insider of this industry thanks to my diverses experiences among the most prestigious brands & groups: LVMH, Chanel, L'Oréal etc... I have a large diversity of job experience on the field - retail, wholesale, porduct development, fashion editor, consulting - giving me a unique point of view of what it mean to succeed in this industry. I am the career coach for one the most prestigious fashion school on the planet: L'Institut Français de la Mode. Before you jump in and listen the first episodes, few information regarding the format of this podcast: All the episode are between 1h or 2h hours long. I have chosen this format because i believe this is the best way to go deep within each individual story and get the best insights possible. Even though most episode are in English, some of them are in French. So if you are learning french, take this opportunity to practice, if you are not, please bare with me and enjoy the English speaking ones. Last but not least, in order to keep the authenticity of the conversation, I've decided to barely edit each interview.
