Luckily, The Book Club For Busy Lives is here to help! In this multi-part podcast, we explore one book at a time pertaining to inclusive teaching practices in higher education. We listen in as educators and guests analyze specific facets of our spotlighted book, and discuss how it relates to real-world applications within their own lives and teaching practices. The Book Club For Busy Lives Podcast is brought to you by Quinnipiac University’s School of Health Sciences Inclusive Excellence Committee in conjunction with the Center for Teaching and Learning. About the hosts: Karen Majeski has a clinical doctorate in occupational therapy. She is an assistant professor of occupational therapy at Quinnipiac University. She is the Assistive Technology Chairperson for the Developmental Disabilities Special Interest Section for the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Vice-Chair of the Connecticut Community Empowerment Foundation whose mission is to support integrated employment for individuals with different abilities. JT Torres has a PhD in educational psychology. He directs the Center for Teaching and Learning at Quinnipiac University. He is author of Situated Narratives and Sacred Dance: Performing the Entangled Histories of Cuba and West Africa as well as the novella Taking Flight.
